For the growth of the company to be assured it was felt by the directors that a full time land department be set up to identify, negotiate and procure the land needed for the companies programme. This department is now fully fledged and pro-active in the marketplace negotiating with agents and landowners to purchase land for the company in an ever increasing circle but cored to the counties of Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire though interests in land further afield are concurrent.
